Trading Risk Disclosure

Last updated August 20, 2026

Read this before you use TradePilotX to analyze, prepare, or place trades. It is written in plain language on purpose.

Trading involves risk

Buying and selling securities, options, and other instruments is risky. Prices move quickly and unpredictably, and losses can happen fast.

You can lose money

You can lose some or all of the money you invest. Options and leveraged strategies can lose value very quickly and, in some cases, can result in losses greater than the amount initially invested. Only trade money you can afford to lose.

Past performance means nothing about the future

Backtests, historical results, and previous signal performance do not guarantee future results. Simulated or hypothetical results have inherent limitations and do not reflect real trading conditions.

AI analysis can be wrong

The scores, summaries, and trade ideas produced by our AI are generated by statistical models. They can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or based on outdated information. They are not financial advice and not a recommendation to trade.

Market data can be delayed, missing, or incorrect

Quotes, candles, options data, and news come from third-party providers. Data can be delayed, stale, interrupted, or simply wrong. TradePilotX labels the state of the data it shows, but a label cannot fix a bad upstream feed.

Brokerage and connectivity outages happen

Brokerage APIs and connection providers can go down, rate-limit requests, or return errors. When that happens, positions and orders shown in TradePilotX may not reflect your real account until connectivity is restored.

Order outcomes are not guaranteed

  • Orders can be rejected by the brokerage or the exchange.
  • Orders can be delayed, partially filled, or filled at a price different from the one you expected.
  • Orders can be canceled or expire without executing.
  • Fast markets, gaps, halts, and low liquidity make all of the above more likely.

Automated systems can behave unexpectedly

Automation follows rules, not intent. Software defects, bad inputs, connectivity problems, or unusual market conditions can cause automated behavior you did not anticipate. Review your automation and risk limits before enabling them, and monitor them while they run.

Stop-losses do not guarantee a price

A stop order becomes a market or limit order when triggered. It does not guarantee execution at your stop price. Gaps and fast moves can produce a far worse fill.

TradePilotX guarantees nothing about outcomes

TradePilotX cannot guarantee execution, profits, or the avoidance of losses. It is software that helps you analyze markets and interact with your brokerage — it does not take on your market risk.

You remain responsible

You are responsible for your brokerage account, your settings, and every trading decision made in your account, including decisions carried out by automation you turned on. Your brokerage statement is the authoritative record of your account.
